Identification
In November 2006 Michiel Valk and Marjan Besuijen conducted a factfinding trip to Malawi and Mozambique with the aim to identify potential project for the STAR programme. This resulted in the cooperation with Yoneco and Aro Mozambique.

Impression of the first and second regional workshop on HIV/AIDS and ICTs.

Toolkit
The two toolkit KPN volunteer Gerard and Joost went for a further needs assessment to Uganda, right after attending the second regional workshop on HIV/AIDS & ICT.
They visited three HIV/AIDS organisations in urban Kampala and one rural organisation near Fort Portal. The objective of the trip was to get an idea of the reality the different organisations work in as well as to gain as much info as possible as input for the development of the communication toolkit.
